The concept of ‘Your Life Wishes’ and ‘Your Life Stories’ as presented by Jolene at our Sydney Diversional and Recreation Therapy Workshop, definitely struck a chord with participants working in the aged care sector. Jolene had real life examples to demonstrate the use and benefits of these beautifully produced playing card sized conversation starters. She showed how having those important conversations using the ‘Your Life Wishes’ cards & booklet ensures that nothing gets missed in Advance Care Planning, and while simply sharing a part of yourself with others  through the ‘Your Life Story’ cards can start a conversation that can change a life. Thanks Jolene for making the trip and thanks for providing this great resource that is extremely relevant to the work down by Leisure and Lifestyle staff.

‘Jolene came out to speak to the Wise Wellness group at Northpark Private Hospital in November 2016. She gave a most informative and interesting talk about some of the issues people face as they age, and how to address these through information via her website.
